Does any bigger buzzkill in sports than a backup QB starting a playoff game.

Watching backup QB's in the post season makes me want to Ashley Simpson.

There's a noteworthy development that Ashley Simpson has been a comeback on this show or has and I like it. I mean it's positive. You see

everything comes around. Everything will come back. Anyway no offense to Skyler Thompson or Tyler Huntley, but nobody wants to see

Skyler Thompson or Tyler Huntley this weekend. The difference in the two

situations though is nobody is suggesting that Tua is holding out on the

Dolphins while there are a lot of people suggesting just that

a lot of people suggesting that a lot of people suggesting that a lot of people seem convinced that

that Lamar would be suiting up if he had a new contract.

And of course, a lot of people think that because he does not have a new contract.

Even if he absolutely should have a contract by now, that deal never got done, which I will get to in a second in terms of who is to blame, everybody.

But of course that lack of a contract has directly led to doubts and skepticism about what's

going on with Lamar.

Because when he first went down, it was according to John Harbaw quote not a season ending type of knee and a quote and

then he went on to say it would be quote days to weeks and of quote before we sell

Lamar back on the field.

Well, that was nearly six weeks ago, and still no sound of Lamar,

which is why we now have a health versus contract debate, which has been raging now all week long.

So much so that Lamar had to try to come out and clear the air himself on Twitter when he

said yesterday that he is officially out for Sunday's game.

Lamar tweeted and I quote,
