Culture is obsessed with efficiency and productivity. I need to achieve. I need to have more,

be more, do more. To have this communication device 24-7 freeze you up from certain things,

but then you have to then have the discipline to protect your time and to protect you from

that becoming an addiction. That's who Inter-Excellance is for. That person needs to be able to

single task and not having the mind going past future, past

future, and what about this?

What about this? What about that?

Why did you just choose the desert? What about like going to a Zen monastery? I need to find something that I can devote my life to, something that I'm willing to live and die for. And I just felt like I didn't have that. A lot of people come to you now and come to me because they want that guidance.

Inter-Excellance is developing the habits of thought and action around getting that feeling, what I call this flow.

How do you want to face all the things that you can't control and adversity?

And who's the person that you want to become?

How do you train that?

Going to the desert, I think those things started to form a life filled with love and joy and peace

and patience and kindness and goodness and faithfulness and self-control. This is the best possible

life and help people live that life. I'll tell you what I found helpful, but it's the exact opposite
