Hey everybody, welcome to Movie Crush, Friday interview a dish, family and friends a dish on top of that because today, just now, he just left.

I sat down with my oldest friend, everyone. My oldest friend is not from six and seven years old.

My oldest friend is from about the ninth grade, Jim Issa. We met in the ninth grade, we talked a little bit about this at the beginning, had a bunch of classes together in the tenth grade, and that's when we really became rock solid pals.

And Jim and I, he kind of helped me kickstart my broadcast in career because we had a little radio show in high school.

And that was kind of the first time I ever did anything like this on a microphone, was with him and he was my first creative partner.

Jeez, 30 something years ago, which is crazy and that makes us super old.

But Jim came in here to talk about Rushmore after debating about various films, like almost famous and singing in the rain and Barton Fink and some other good films.

He settled on that. Jim lives down the street for me now. It's kind of cool. We all live in the same neighborhood. Jim is the drummer in our old man band, El Chico.

And he is a director. He works in advertising now and directs a lot of television commercials. But he is directed a feature film called Good Intentions.

And was a founder of a very influential improv group in Atlanta many years ago called The Whole World Theater, which is still going strong.

And made his career as an actor for a while and as an editor for a while. And Jim is just a super talented guy.
