We got the holidays in between as well, or at least one holiday.

Couple, depending on how you celebrate and uh it's exciting it's funny like my first year doing this 2019 the ohio

state game ends and it's just like this there was just nothing it's like oh what do we do now

yeah now the last three years in 2020 was just kind of its own beast obviously terrible terrible in many ways. Now it's like, all right, here we go. You got the flight booked. You get the hotel. You get the credentials. If anyone from the Rose Bowl is watching, we're still waiting on the credentials. But we will be there. And it's just so much more exciting, isn't it? I mean, just the way these last three years have gone. You've got to take it in at some point, too. It's a lot of work, and you know what? It is well worth it. And you know what? It feels like when you're going through a season, like a Rich Rod season, and you just want the thing to end, that it lasts for three years. This year seemed a little longer with all the NCAA crap and everything else.

However, when you're covering a team that is this good and has overcome so many obstacles, then it makes it all worth it. And just a great group of guys, great group of coaches and players. You know what? You don't hear the narrative anymore about, oh, they had to cheat to win. Nobody's saying a word except for the crybaby rivals that just, you know, it's a coping mechanism, as we've said many times.
