Now, ever since the hire was made, there's been a lot of talk about how the Bobby Patrino

and Jim Bofischer relationship is going to work out and who's going to actually call

the plays. Now, while people will make their jokes and I get it, fan is short for fanatical,

I personally think it's going to work. I'm not a trends guy. I'm not a fashion designer.

I talk about football and sports. All right. A lot of people really don't understand

how play calling actually works during the game. Now, there's typically one voice who

ends up calling the play at the end on the headset, but it's truly a team effort. It's a staff

effort because one coach, regardless of whether or not they are on the sideline or in the

booth, cannot see everything at once. All coaches have predetermined spots where they're

looking each play and the flow of information on what is happening on all three levels

is just as important as the play that gets called. Now, sometimes the head coach will dictate

what type of play is called, not necessarily the specific play, whether he wants a run
