Nick, great to be back on your show. Good. You know, I love this time of year. It's a holiday for me. I love trade deadlines. I love all the drama that comes, and this year's not going to let us down.

We're going to have a lot of mama dramas all going to come near the end because, unfortunately, we have a lot of GMs that are waffling if they should buy or sell, but at the end of the day, they'll do the right thing, and I think we're going to have a really fun, firework-filled trade deadline in a couple of weeks. It certainly feels that way, right?

So to Jim's point, like we may not see some of these deals consummated for another week,

week and a half, leading right up until the trade deadline on Monday, August 3rd.

So for our listeners and viewers, let's use this as kind of a map, right, for where we think we may end up when the trade deadline comes and goes. And, Jim, obviously, we need to start with Detroit Tigers star pitcher Tariq Scoobel, back-to-back-Sah Young Award winner. What do you think is going to happen with Tark Scoobel as we stand right now and if the Tigers will buy or sell at the deadline.

Yeah, I think they're probably going to end up having to sell. I mean, they're not playing well. They're six and a half games back in the division. They're five in the wild card. And, you know, you have to ask yourself, you know, if you're Scott Harris sitting in that front office, you've got to ask yourself, do you really believe this team can win a World Series? Because when you have an asset like Scoobold, to let him walk in free agency and not get any compensation is really a franchise killer.

And look, they've got a good nucleus of young players like Kevin McGonigal and Riley Green.

They've got a bunch of young guys coming like Max Clark and Bresenio, Renier. I mean, they got so many guys

coming that to not take advantage of Scoobel's asset to trade, to me, is foolish. Now, it could go either

way. You know, I was talking to Alex Antoppa as the president of the Braves on Sunday. And now

Alex was saying, you know, it is amazing how emotional everybody gets this time of

year, including the front office executives, and how literally how are team plays leading into
