book after the fall from the end of history to the crisis of democracy, how politicians

broke our world. And it's very interesting. But first, the news. Somali, there was a lot of

interesting elections last night. The Thomas Massey losing kind of swallowed up a lot of the oxygen.

$7 million from AIPAC. $32 million in all, making it the most spent on a congressional race of all time, apparently.

Wow. Yeah, pretty, pretty nuts. But what we did see is we saw the AOC endorsed candidate, Chris Rab, had a big upset to the Democratic establishment in PA's third district. And we saw our former guest, Bob Brooks, who people were very excited about what he really liked his messaging when we had him on.

Bob Brooks is one of this slate of working class

candidates. He was a labor union organizer, and he came from that world, and he is the same

idea of not left versus center left, but up versus down. He is a populist with a sort of anti-elite message.

He's a Medicare for all guy, and he is from the great state of Pennsylvania. He has been endorsed

from everyone from Josh Shapiro and Secretary Pete to Bernie Sanders, he has a wide swath.

It's a swing district.

He's running against Representative Ryan McKinsey.

And the idea here is that you have Democrats who are genuinely populists, that you are,

you have people who are genuinely running for this seat on this working class,

you know, single payer values. This is, I'm going to just read this quote from his spokesperson

for working families. Congress has enough lawyers, but there are very few actual working people.

And, you know, we saw this with Run for Something. We love Run for Something,
