Woo! I'm your host, Gibson Johns, and today we're talking about the latest from Summerhouse, Southern Charm.

a fashion-focused column about Bravo for Paper Magazine, as well as hosting the podcast Eating for Free,

which talks a lot about Bravo. And before we get to our great chat with Joan, and it goes on for over an

hour, we of course have to talk about the

Jill's errand of it all. I mean, where do I even begin? We did talk about her initial comments on

Tuesday's episode, I believe, that's what that was. But as I've said, like nothing that Jill said

in that video about Bed Bunny was a surprise. We knew she thought this way, but ultimately, to me,

it comes down to the fact that she was stupid and arrogant enough to post it and think it was going to be acceptable and not taking them for what it was, which was racist.

She clearly lives in like a bubble where what she thinks is reaffirmed and reflected right back at her by the people around her, because this is what she thinks.

Like, you can just tell Jill does not, is not challenged in terms of her views and

thoughts because she's around people who think exactly like her.

And so when she went to post this, she thought that it was going to land because, again,

there was nobody there to check her and be like, Jill, I'm not sure if this is a good idea.

And in whether it was like a separate video or in the same video, she was like, I don't care

if I lose followers.

I'm going to post it. Somebody in the background was like, don't post that. And she was like, I don't care. I'll lose half my followers. I think it was Gary, her husband. Anyway, E and the production company announced they were firing her, which surprised me.

I mean, I thought they wouldn't do it for exactly the reason that I just said, which is that it wasn't all that surprising. Everyone knew her politics, just like Ramona. But I guess they figured that she would not be idiotic enough to post something like this. So for them to act so swiftly, you know, it was less than 48 hours after she posts the video that he announced through the production company that they were letting her go from the show before it even started

filming. So kudos to them that they, they've learned obviously from past, from past happenings

like this, probably on Bravo and other networks. So I was pleasantly surprised by that. And almost
