my guest co-host Amy Albert. Hi everybody. And we are joined. I am so excited to talk with her.

She is the founder of Scary Mommy. Oh my god. It's Jill Smokler. Hello. Hello. Thanks so much

for coming on the show. So you just asked me before we started taping and I wanted to save it for

the pod. So I have three kids. They're all boys. I have a six-year-old, a 10-year-old,

and an 11-year-old. Amy, what you got over there? I have two. I have a girl who's going to be seven

in about a month and a half and a four-year-old boy. And what's what's your kids' relationship?

Jill, I'm saying it. So I have I have three. I have a daughter and two sons. My daughter is 18

at Hennington College, shortly. And then my boys are 16 and 14. So I am in the smack dab in the

teenage years, which is just a whole new ball game. Yeah. Yeah. I can't say I'm thriving in it.

I don't know if they thrived when they were younger, but I'm definitely not thriving now.

I'm going to use that. I'm not thriving right now. Holy shit, Jill. You are, yeah. So you're in the

shit, but like it's like all new shit. Well, there's like two in the shits. There's like, well,

there's like the baby in the shit, then there's like the, you know, like little kid in the shit,

and then there's the teen in the shit. You have like a nice reprieve, like, seven, eight, nine,

10, 11, like those years, well, you're sort of in them. So okay. That's good to know that I

should be counting my blessings in this moment. You should be savoring this because it's only going

to get worse. This is like chaps. Oh god. This is where my voice is. The older kids is not going

to be very reassuring. No, a blissful period that I feel like, right, is yeah, it's like once you

can travel without the car seats and without the huge diaper bag, but before they, you know,

were really their own people and, you know, really have their own opinions and can drive it, you know,

they respect you. Yeah. Oh my god. Jill, you had, so wow, you had, okay, I'm, let me take it back. So
