This evening we are returning to Jill.

But before we do, find a comfortable position allowing your body to feel supported.

letting go of any tension. Beginning with your feet, feel them relax relax melting into the surface beneath you let this relaxation move up through your legs

easing any tightness deeply, feeling your abdomen rise and fall with each breath.

Let your chest and shoulders soften.

Allow your arms and hands to rest comfortably and with every breath feel your body becoming lighter your mind quieter.

Picture a calm, soothing image.

Maybe a clear night sky or a quiet meadow.

Feel safe and calm and peaceful. With each breath you are closer to sleep, ready to rest and be rejuvenated for the next day.

Jill arrived in a cab late in the day at 2000 Eaton Square, as seemed to be the usual time for

new servants to arrive.

She dined in the housekeeper's room with the other servants of her rank and learnt much about the family she was to work for via gossip.

To Jill's frustration and disgust, she managed to attract the attentions of Lord Mervyn's valet, Perkins,
