Even before I read your book, I always go and look at the author picture. I laughed so hard that in the back of your author picture. You saw Monkey Jesus? Yeah. Ech-Homo, yeah. I painted him myself, I'll say. I want to, you know, those places where you can drink wine and paint that's just like in a strip. Well, there's one in my neighborhood in Brooklyn, and I just got hammered and painted monkey

Jesus.

But I think about Cecilia Jimenez.

I think about the woman who just Google Eke Homo and see that there was this sort of, I feel

like it was from the 30s.

It was like this picture by Elias Martinez

and this very lovely custodian of a church

did a terrible...

A restoration.

And he looks like monkey Jesus now.

It's one of the most beautiful things that humans have ever done.

Just amazing. It's so good.

So brilliant.
