So they gave him, essentially they gave him more term to spread the money out because

there's no question that McCarran, if he had just hit the market on July 1st.

And this is, by the way, this is how bad free agency is going to be.

Like Michael McCarran was going to be a decent get for somebody.

He is now off the market returning a guy that the Wilde previously couldn't stand when he played for the Predators.

They got him from the Predators at the deadline for a second round pick.

And we all said, what are you doing, Bill Guerin, White trade the second round pick? And Michael McCarron got here was really good, I thought. Big guy, third line guy. He was on the second line, I think, for the last game against the abs. He's not a second line guy. But he's a third or fourth line guy he's a center he can win
