She is the granddaughter of President John F. Kennedy Jr.

And in that essay, she let us know that she has been given less than a year to live.

The headlines in a lot of places said that the granddaughter of JFK has terminal illness.

And that's true. But so many of the articles, nothing tells this story better than she

tells it in her own words.

I was so moved by her vulnerability, by the way she described how she is living, what she's

been through. And my God, when you read how and when it happened, she was 34 years old in the

hospital giving birth to her daughter and her whole

world turned upside down. And I think, you know, in terms of the timing of this article, we are now,

everyone's gearing up for family and food. And yes, it's fun, but it's stressful and people get to

complaining about, I got to do this, and
