Good evening, everyone, and welcome to police off the cuff, real crime stories.

0:09.2

I'm your host, retired NYPD, Sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

0:14.9

We have a story come out of Paris, a heist at the Louvre.

0:22.1

And at first, all the news reporters were calling this, or they are calling this, a robbery.

0:29.2

And for there to be a robbery, there has to be the threat of force, physical force, the threat of force.

0:36.8

1:47.9

So no one would think of stopping them.

1:51.4

And then when they use these grinders to break the glass and get into the location,

1:56.5

it's just really remarkable.

1:59.5

And you could see there's a little rendition of it, you know, of the Louvre and how they got in.

2:06.7

And again, no one is going to say, oh, these workers came and I'm going to stop them.
