Hello again, everybody, and welcome to the Mike Francesa podcast, part of the Bat River's network.

We come to you after another jet loss.

I'm sorry it took so long to get here, but I didn't know Aaron Glenn was going to wait a half hour to hit the podium.

But I wanted to hear what he had to say, especially about the quarterback situation.

Listen, I thought this was going to be a very tough game. Denver played very poorly defensively,

very poorly offensively. I knew the Jets would have trouble moving the ball against this Denver

defense. And I think really what

happened is Sean saw that he was in a game against the riled up defense. And the jet defense

showed up today. So give him credit, they did show up today. But he pulled in the oars. He's usually

very aggressive. He usually gives his quarterback a lot of shots.

He didn't today.

He wanted to protect the football because he didn't think the Jets could beat him.

And obviously they couldn't.

Now, there's two ways to look at this game.

One, the Jets are coming off a game where everybody thought they quit.

Today, they played a strong game defensively against a good team, not a good offensive team, but a good overall team, a very good defensive team. They played well special teams,

and they played abysmally on offense. That's a step in the right direction,

marginal. The bottom line is where Aaron Glenn is missing the point,

and I'm really missing the point.

You are there to get your team wins.

Your job as a head coach is to do whatever you have to do to win the game.
