But the other day, we got clarity on some of the jet interviews for the head coaching position.

And a couple of things I do want to stress.

I disagree with some of my fellow jet fans.

I do not have an issue with the order of said interviews.

Like, I do not believe they shouldn't be interviewing head coaches because they need to hire

a general manager first.

I don't believe that's always the way it has to work in the NFL, especially if you

get the head coach that you want.

And sometimes it does go backwards.

Mike Vrable, who I think most of us would be gung ho about, wants input on who the general

manager is, and I have no problem with that

yeah so certain guys especially the veteran coaches who have been around kind of our executives

themselves like they're not really coaching positions even though i think variable could do that

um you kind of trust them to have an input on who the general manager is going to be as well

i absolutely would.

And I want that.

Because they've seen so much of the league and seen what's worked and what hasn't.

And even with like the non-experienced head coach, I'll tell you why I like going backwards,

as some people like to call it, certain coaches, in fact, a lot of coaches need the right

ingredients for their team to cook.

So wouldn't you want them finding the right general manager that meshes with their
