After our show ended on Friday, the Jets had hired their offensive coordinator, which was a big deal in one of the huge hires that Aaron Glenn had to make.

And it is Tanner Engstrand, who was a first-time offensive coordinator.

He was most recently in Detroit with Aaron Glenn and on the staff there with Ben Johnson.

Of course, Dan Campbell as the head coach.

He was an offensive assistant starting there in 2020 and then worked his way up.

And now it gets an opportunity to be an offensive coordinator for the New York Jets.

It just I think furthers the point that there's probably going to be some growing pains with this coaching staff

because there's a ton of inexperience.

We know that Steve Wilkes is there and he's done every job in the books,

but there's just a lot of inexperience.

And also, you know, something that we thought might happen with Nick Cayley, who was their first

choice, who was the passing game coordinator for the Rams under Sean McVeigh and Michael

LaFleur. Nick Caley said, no, thank you, because Michael Fawr probably said, hey, don't go

there. It's not going to be good for your career because it wasn't good for mine.
