Touched a little bit on the Jets and Giants schedules.

Really not surprising, but interesting that there's not a single primetime game for the New York Jets.

Now, selfishly, that is great for us to have all those 1 o'clock games.

I'd much prefer to watch the 1 o'clock games because, you know, you don't have to stay up up late and you know flip your eyelids open uh to watch what could potentially be very bad football

uh to come in and talk about it the next day i think it's going to be a lot better football

well i hope so i mean it's going to be a lot more competitive i'll tell you that you certainly

can't get much worse i think both teams are going to be a lot more competitive

especially the legendary john Harbaugh, competitive practices,

you know, setting the tone early with the New York Giants, a whole new culture going into that building.

You know, the interesting thing about the 1 o'clock starts for the Jets.

In 1988, my Cincinnati Bengals were coming off of a 4-11, 1987 season.

That was a strike short and shortened season with the replacement players.

Yeah. And nobody thought we were going to be any good.

When in reality, we actually had a really good team.

We had a better team at 87 than I thought we did in 88.

We lost a few guys in that offseason.

But we came back and we started the season 6 and 0.

We had all of our games at 1 o'clock on Sunday.

And there is nothing better for an NFL player than I don't care about the, you know,

the national games, they're nothing but a pain in the ass.

Honestly.

You have 1 o'clock every Sunday and with the exception of two Sundays where they have to go on the road and they have to play 1 o'clock games in the cities in which they're playing, which will be 4 o'clock games here. And that's, I think, Arizona and the Rams, I believe. But, I mean, I would love that if I were a coach of the Jets.
