We come to you on this Tuesday.

The trade deadline in the NFL has come and gone.

And while we had the kind of trades you get used to, the Jets stepped in and made it a very interesting day and gave everybody something to talk about.

Now, it is rare when a team transforms itself on draft day.

Okay. Once in a while, you get day. Okay, once in a while you get something,

a player who is either won't play under a certain contract

or is very unhappy who has a major issue,

like an Eric Dickerson, that kind of thing.

But that's few and far between.

But the Jets clearly went into this with an idea and an eye towards the future.

It's not surprising that they traded Williams.

There were a lot of rumblings the last couple of weeks that Aquino Williams wanted out.

He had been criticized by Glenn and he was like, you know, time for me to leave.

That made plenty of sense.

I have to admit, I'm a little bit surprised by the source gardener trade.

Now,

when you look at it,

it's an equitable trade

for both teams

with some risk on
