We got I told you so a moment for Boomstradamus over here.

Xavier Gibson cut, released just a few minutes ago by the Jets, the man who of course

fumbled on the kickoff return.

It really changed the game and the momentum in the Steelers' favor and the Jets losing week

one at home.

Aaron Glenn talked about accountability, can't have it.

Well, Xavier Gibson gone. Right. And this is

part and parcel of creating a culture and creating an expectation. And I'm sure they like Xavier

Gibson as a person. I'm sure that he'll catch on with somebody else somewhere along the line.

But when something like this happens and you're trying to get across to your players how important

things like this are in games unfortunately somebody's going to lose a job and uh if you're a new

group in there coach GM uh unfortunately you're going to have sacrificial limbs like this that's why

I thought that they would do it. I figured they would

have done it on a Monday, but they waited and they tried to, I'm sure they talked it through and said,

you know, this would be a guy that maybe is popular in the locker room, but he's no longer

going to be in that locker room. Yeah, I mean, it was one of these, whoever the first expendable

player to do something like this was was probably going

to get released to make an example of that person to show that Aaron Glenn is not effing around

and plus you know he wasn't drafted or brought in here by this group right he had been here

already for three years and had been a part of the team, you know, prior.

So any guy that's in that situation that is on the bubble, you know, you better keep your

head on a swivel or you better play well so they don't make an example out of you.
