I was bothered yesterday by the pictures that were taken of Diana Rusey and Mike Vrable that was very creepy that that was happening and the New York Post was publishing it. Right. And they both suggested that it probably was a private investigator. Mm-hmm. And so logically you think that maybe one of the spouses thought something was going on, so hired them. Right. But the other thought is, and I don't think this is comical, even if it may sound it when it comes out of my mouth, because if you think about it, it makes a lot of sense, is it possible that another NFL team did it? No. See, I knew you'd have a reaction like that. It would be no way. Can I explain why? Okay, go ahead, because it would disrupt the Patriots way. No, it's not even disrupting the Patriots way, despite their great success.

You could be bothered by a relationship between a head coach and a reporter if you think

things are being leaked out to their benefit.

Now, you could argue things are being leaked out to the benefit anyway, but in terms of

there being an inappropriate relationship and certain stories are coming out because of that relationship. So give me an example of a story. You really want me to do that? Yeah. E.J. Brown. I mean, she is reported that A.J. Brown's trade interest is coming from the New England Patriots. And I think it's logical now for people to say, is that connected? I don't know if it is.

I don't know if even if they're having any kind of inappropriate relationship.

I don't think those pictures prove anything.

But if you are a team and you don't like that and you don't like the fact because it's a two-way street, I think that Diane is getting ridiculed as it's unethical on her end, which I'm not saying it isn't, it is, but it's also unethical on his end.

Right.

Like, let's be honest.

There's an inappropriate relationship reportedly. Yes. Or accusatorily. And then information is being leaked out that benefits you. So is it possible a team? I don't know what team would say, I don't like this. And I'm going to put a stop to it. Are you saying the Eagles?

I mean, sure. What about Aaron Glenn and the Jets? I don't know. Big down down there. He's getting it done. I think you're sniffing around the right idea, Evan, but, and I don't know if anybody else has had this. I forgot to search Twitter or anything. I've thought about this. this is vindictive and spiteful.

And I think you're right about like somebody in the NFL circles.

Doesn't this have all the makings of Bill Belichick? Holy crap. He is so tired of everybody all over him and Jordan Hudson. Let me capture me on the ring camera. Let me take a picture of us everywhere doing this. Any other thing. Hates what's going on in New England, Robert Cripp. Okay, yeah, I'm the slime ball. Let's go see what your coach is doing. This is the beauty of group think. That's interesting. This is the beauty of group think, because to the credit of Carton and Florio, and I think I saw Immanuel Acho say it like, okay, private eye. That's a really good thought. Didn't think about that. That's what it looks like. It looks like it. It's a great thought. So it looks like a private eye. Because it's not somebody with their phone like, oh, look what I saw. This is somebody with a telephoto camera lens that's taking this from, I don't know, a long way away. So then naturally you go to the spouses, which makes complete sense. Like if you think someone's cheating on you, yeah, you want to catch them right in. Is it it get in the public sphere? That's true. But then you say these people, Diana and Mike Vrable, are high-profile people. And her reporting and his coaching may have pissed off other teams. And so it could be someone from another team. And then you take it to another level and say it's Bill Belichick.

Good thought. It's a good thought. Well, could you not see Bill Belichick being spiteful? Oh, everybody, it's real perfect air. I'm the clown, right? That everybody's taking pictures up with my female. I don't think that's crazy. In fact, if I was power ranking, who hired the private I, assuming it's not the spouses,

I would probably put Bill Belichick number one.

I put the Eagles at number two.

I'd put the Eagles at number two. I'd probably put the Jets at number three. Because why not? They're in our division. Yeah. I don't think the Jets have it. They have their own stuff to worry about. I would exonerate the Jets. You're exonerating the Jets? We're not smart enough to do that. Right. Is that what you're saying? We couldn't pull that off. The jets are a sewer. Yeah.

And the whole thing is just bizarre. And I honestly tend to feel bad because it's their private life. But when it impacts like the integrity and reporting and all that, I understand why it then becomes a big story. The other last thing I'll say about this, and we'll get back to the draft in your calls 888-808-101-1-9, is Patriot fans are very aggressive to defend Mike Vrable or to claim that none of this is true. And the honest answer is we don't know if it's true. And we can all play the game of analyzing it, but none of us have any idea what the hell is going on. But the Patriot fan in general seems to just take his side and say, this is nothing. And I wonder as New Yorkers if we would do the same thing. Like if one of our coaches, not even the football teams, the baseball teams, was involved in any kind of ext-curricular affair. Yeah. Would we go out of our way to defend them because they're good at their job? And I doubt it. I don't think we would. I don't think we would. I think we'd turn and we'd have opinions about it. And ultimately it would probably be nothing. It's not going to cost him his job. just like I don't think this is going to cost Mike Vrable his job. But maybe it just brings unwanted attention to something that he wanted private. Yeah. So, but then you just go do your job. I think we would just be honest. Yeah. Like, I don't think we would go out of our way. It's odd. And maybe it's one of those monolithic cities at Boston where they only have one team. So everyone comes together. We're not like that here in New York where we're all mixed and we have a lot of people who aren't from here. So maybe that's the reason we just act differently. But I feel like if it was one of our coaches or managers, we would just be having an honest discussion. It doesn't feel like there's an honest discussion there. It feels like, not it tells the line.

Big news. Rebels great. Shut up. Everyone's out to get us. And in their defense, because I actually will defend them slightly, maybe they feel like people are out to get them because of the past. Boston has been attacked at times for things that they deem as untrue. And if you want examples, I'll give you three of them. The Alex Corr, Red Sox cheating scandal of 2018, that literally cost Alex Corr's job for one full season. There are many people out there, sort of rightfully so, who say that was a joke that he lost his job for a year. Right.

And then the obvious stuff is the Belichick and the spy gate and the deflade gate and the Tom Brady stuff. So I guess there also could be that defense mechanism that you think everyone's out to get you. It feels like they are. Yeah, but when you put it all together, it doesn't feel like it. So now I just made a defense of Boston. You did.

Oh, by the way, I forgot about the Celtic coach situation. Which one? Yeah, well, what does he lost his job? Emauduco. It ends up in Houston. And they end up with Joe Mazzula as the head coach. Like, right before the start of the season. What the hell's going up in Boston.
