The Lord be with you.

A reading from the Holy Gospel is written to us by Luke.

Jesus told his disciples this parable.

Can a blind person guide a blind person? Will not both fall into the pit,

but no disciple is superior to the teacher. When he himself is fully trained, every disciple

will be just as good as this teacher.

So why do you notice the splinter in your brother or sister's eye,

but do not perceive the big log in your own.

How can you say to your brother or sister, let me remove that little splinter there in your eye and you don't even notice

the great big log in your own. You hypocrite, remove the log from your own eye first.

Then you can begin to see clearly enough to remove the splinter in your brother or sisters.

A good tree does not bear rotten fruit,

nor does a rotten tree bear good fruit.

And every tree is known by its fruits.

People do not pick figs from thorn bushes, nor do they gather grapes from brambles.

A good person out of the store of his goodness in his art produces goodness.

But an evil person out of the store of evil produces evil. From the fullness of the heart, the mouth will speak.

This is the Gospel of the Lord.

Praise the Lord.

And we are going to speak. I wonder if even family or community can exist or friendship can exist for very long without this kind of knowledge.
