It's a real privilege to be here. I have felt the presence of God in this morning in an unusual way personally.

It's been, when I was 16, I got saved and called preach two years later.

And one of the things that kept me from coming to Jesus was my pride.

I didn't want to cry.

I didn't want to be seen crying in public as a little boy. I got under conviction at seven and resisted the gospel till a 16 years old.

And I got to a point a year before I was saved that I didn't feel anything. I could hear the

gospel. My heart

had become hardened because I'd said no, no, no to the to the invitations from God and actually

scared me because I knew that salvation is not something you can just choose to do. It's just a supernatural

thing. It's not a, it's not something we can choose to do

because it's a good choice when God's not dealing with us. He's the one that gives us the faith

to actually believe. He's the one that gives us the faith to actually believe he's the one that gives us the ability to say yes

and surrender it's you know it's all him and so i i told the lord if you'll i want you to convict me to the point that I can't say no I prayed I'm an

Armenian praying a Calvinist prayer I want your grace to be irresistible

I want you to break my pride and then I got saved he did I just broke and

wept and ran to the mourners bench the altar and

and I told the Lord if you'll touch me again where I can feel you I'll not be ashamed of

the tears I'll let him roll down my cheek and drop off my chin.

I will wipe my nose though.

So I asked somebody a while ago, I said,

can you have any Kleenex?
