And on today's edition of the word for today, Pastor Chuck continues his message, Jesus tasted death, as we pick up in Hebrews chapter 2 verse 8.

And now with today's study, here's Pastor Chuck.

He has put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all things in

subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him, but now we see not yet

all things put under him. But what do we see?

We see Jesus, who also became a man, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death.

He had to become a man in order to redeem man.

He had to become next of kin in order to redeem that which man had forfeited to Satan, the world itself.

We see Jesus made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death.

As God, he could not die.

He had to become a man. Take on the limitations.

But we see him now crowned with glory and honor that he, by the grace of God, should taste death for every man.

There you have what redemption is all about.

The wages of sin is death.
