Tonight we're going to take a journey with God.

We're saddling up for a lazy trail ride through the Texas Hill Country, where we'll

meditate on what it means to trust God with all our hearts.

But before we set out on our journey, let's take a few moments to center our hearts and minds on God and to

find comfort in our bodies so as we begin get cozy adjust your pillows and blankets if needed

stretch out or curl up you are in a safe place close your eyes and tune in to your body take a few

moments to loosen each part of your body moving from the top of your head down toward your

toes relaxing your forehead softening your jaw loosening your shoulders and back, feeling your whole body growing weighted and heavy, soft and warm.

Now draw your attention to your breath. Feel it moving in and out.

Just breathing naturally.

Let your breath center you in this moment, in this place.

Not trying to accomplish anything.

Just breathing. just breathing breathing

breathing in God's peace and presence and breathing out your worries

now that you are all tucked in ask for God's spirit to surround you as we pray.

Heavenly Father, we praise you for your wisdom.

We don't always know what to do or where to go, but you know all things.

And we praise you for your loving kindness. By your grace and mercy, you have called us to walk

in newness of life and given us everything that we need for life and godliness. Thank you for sending your son Jesus to live,

die, and rise again. To show us the way to you. Thank you for sending your spirit to dwell within us,

as we wait for the fullness of your kingdom to come to earth tonight we surrender our

worries and fears to you we choose to trust you and to follow wherever you lead as this
