my son just finished his junior year,

so he will be a senior next year.

And I think just watching a lot of friends,

kids leave the home, grow up.

I've been aware of them,

ending their high school career

and excited for what's next,

but it's hard.

As a mom, my heart is already sad,

it's really sad.

And so it was a month ago maybe,

I had this really profound dream,

where my son was packing.

And he was going to a summer boot camp,

like with the Marines.

And senior dream, but not like in Seattle, okay.

So yeah, so he was packing to go to a Marine boot camp.

And he was scared as anyone leaving home would be.

And I saw a little trepidation in my dream,

but his head was high and he was going

and I was so proud of him.
