And amen, good evening to you. You can be seated. I want to welcome those of you that

are joining us online. We are so very glad that you are. A couple of things before we get started.

The first of which is that our prayer meeting is coming up Tuesday. Next Tuesday, September 5th, 7 p.m. here in the sanctuary. Actually, Pastor Mack will be

leading that prayer meeting, and I really hope that you'll be able to come and join together

as a church together, praying together. Secondly, I want to apprise you of our ongoing relief efforts for our Maui Ohana.

I will be providing another update on Sunday, both services, but tonight I did want to answer a question that we're being asked about concerning our setting up of or having a Maui relief fund.

The short answer is we do not have one.

And the reason is because we don't need one.

And the reason we don't need one is because we never ask for money.

And the reason we haven't asked for money or would never ask for money is because we don't need to ask for money.

People give cheerfully.

And by the way, for those of you online, we have never received an offering at this church.

We've always had just boxes.

And so nothing wrong with that. That was just a decision

I made early on that we would just trust the Lord, where God guides God provides. So we've never

received an offering and we have lacked for or wanted for nothing.

And so God has always provided.

And this is a very giving church.

This is a very loving church.

And people just give generously.

And so we don't have to.

And also when it comes to fund or fundraising, I, and just hear me out, this is just me in my relationship
