0:57.7	breath as we enter into God's presence together. Today's reading comes from John chapter 18. Jesus answered,
1:14.7	If you're looking for me, then let these men go. This happened so that the words he had spoken
1:20.8	would be fulfilled. I have not lost one of those you have given me. Let's begin by reciting God's goodness,
1:30.3	praising Him for His love in Christ Jesus.
1:38.3	Oh Jesus, even in the face of death,
1:42.3	you were majestic, courageous, you didn't cower in fear or hide from those who came to arrest you
1:51.9	but rather you went ahead to meet them protecting your disciples by standing in front of them and demanding the charge.
2:01.3	You protected your disciples with your very life, just as you, oh God, our refuge and our hiding
2:08.1	place.
2:09.0	We find shelter under your wings.
2:11.1	You protect us, not in keeping us away from hardship or difficulties, but in your very presence alongside us in those
2:21.4	hard times. Nothing comes against us that hasn't first passed through you. And as we reflect on
2:27.7	our own lives, we see that even in our darkest moments, you were there with us. Your presence, our protection. So we thank you,
2:38.0	God, that the love of Jesus always protects and that in you we have nothing to fear.
2:47.0	Take a few moments to recite God's goodness in your own life, thanking him for who he is and for how he has loved you in Christ Jesus.
