Have you ever heard someone say, nobody knows the day or the hour when Jesus is coming back?

Well, is that true or is that just a rumor?

Yeah. Proz podcast. Hey guys, it's Jeff and Todd here with you talking about another cool subject out of

Matthew 24.

And we have been talking about this Olivet discourse, Jesus discourse to his disciples on the last week of his life here on the earth.

And we're in Matthew 24.

And, you know, we've been going through some of the things that Christ talked about that match up with the book of Revelation and also some of the signs of his coming.

But he continues by talking about this, but he pauses in

verse 36, Todd, that gives us this verse that everybody loves to quote, you know, and we're going to

talk about the legitimacy of this verse, which obviously it's true, but we're going to talk about

kind of how people handle it, but the verse says, but of that day, it's talking about when Christ is coming back, second coming, no one knows

not even the angels of heaven, day or the hour, not of the angels of heaven, nor the son,

but the father alone. Okay. Now, that's a very interesting verse.

We would expect the angels not to know, right?

And we would expect man not to know.

But what about the son?

There's a couple different thoughts on that, isn't there?

There really is.

It's interesting to think about.

And again, this is, we're getting down more into the weeds than the broad brush strokes of the Olivet discourse now. But these are things that people wrestle with. And it's, it carries weight because these were Jesus's words about the end time. So every word means something and everything carries weight. So yeah, about that day, no one knows a day or the hour.
