When we look back in Matthew 24, there's one of the most interesting sections in all of the New

Testament, Todd. And, you know, Jesus taught on a variety of topics. He

taught about heaven, about hell, about worry. He taught about temptation, many different things,

but most people don't realize that Christ talked a lot about the apocalypse and about the end

times. And he did it primarily towards the end of his ministry. And these are some of the last words of Jesus Christ

spoken during the last week of his life. So Matthew 24, as we kind of begin to open up this

book here, is really one of the most interesting places in scripture, isn't it?

It really is. And, you know, just looking at it from our current perspective, it's, it's,

you and I talk a lot about how most people don't want to touch prophecy or think it's obscure or

a side issue or distracting. Jesus talked about it at length. As a matter of fact, his second

longest teaching recorded in scripture is all about the end times, Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13. And it's all

specifically about the end times. And also, just recently, I finished my book, the Nonprofits

Guide to the Bible. And I don't know how many times I've read the Bible and I overlooked. There's

actually a, they call it Isaiah's Apocalypse and Jeremiah's Apocalypse.
