Hey Church home this is John one of our pastors here at a church we all love so much and so

grateful to be here with you today. If you don't know me I'm my name is John Smith

married to my wife Rose for 22 years.

We have 10 year old, just turned 10 year old twin boys, Elgin and Reagan,

and you'll hear a little bit more about them today.

But so good to be with you and have a message I want to share with you during these

amazing times that we're living through and so grateful to be a part of this

community for me for the last 27 years and love our church love what

God is doing love what we get to be a part of and so why don't we go to

scripture today and we'll get right into this message.

1st Timothy chapter 2, we'll start there, just two, actually five verses.

1st Timothy 2 verse 1, I urge you then first of all that petitions, prayers,

intercession, and Thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings and all those in authority

that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good and

pleases God our Savior.

Verse 4, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind,

the man Christ Jesus.

And then go to Matthew chapter 10, verse 34, and read six verses. Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. V.

Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth.

I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
