Steve Jobs came back to Apple, Titanic,

short word about Leonardo, a little non-author named

JK Rowling released a little book about witches

into the world that Christians freaked out over

for a solid decade.

But another event that's much quieter,

but I would argue, just as important.

It's actually a book.

Edward Freeman, you may or may not know that name,

a year after his death, his family put out

his last book called A Failure of Nerve.

Many, myself included, consider it

the greatest leadership book or the most important

leadership book we've ever read.

And Freeman, if you're not familiar with them,

was a Jewish rabbi and therapist who

was an early expert on the idea of systems theory,

the idea that families function like a system of relationships.

Very well-known, famous book, Generation to Generation,

is the basis for much of the work
