Philippians 2.5, let's dive into God's word. Let's open with prayer. Father, we come before you

today. And Jesus, we recognize, as children of God, we recognize you are Lord of all. You're

Lord of our life. You're Lord of the universe. And Lord, we live in that every day. But we recognize there's a whole world out there

that doesn't acknowledge that you are Lord. They think they're Lord. They may think that the

president is Lord. I think that the governor thinks he is Lord. But Father, truly, you are Lord.

And one day, at the end of this message message we're going to see one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess jesus christ is lord to the glory of god the

father we look forward to that day lord that we could see that so, Lord, we surrender this date and this time to you.

Would you speak to us by your Holy Spirit?

Demand agreement with your own views on everything.

Sulk if people are not grateful to you for favors shown them.

Never forget of service rendered,

shirk your duties if you can do as little as possible for others.

That describes a life without Jesus, a self-centered, self-focused life.

The goal is pleasing oneself, pampering oneself, pitying oneself, personifying oneself,
