But we are, like Matt said, we are continuing in this very short, very brief series that I'm

calling counterfeit Christ, right? We want to take a look at the ideas, probably the misunderstandings,

the misperceptions that people have of Jesus. Maybe you have even had these at some point in your

life. You have them now. But what we really

want to do is we want to submit those ideas about Jesus to the scrutiny of Scripture. We want

the real Jesus. We don't want the fake Jesus. We want what is real and we believe that he is here

in His Word. So we're going to study that. So if you have your Bible, which again,

I trust that you do, you're the Wednesday audience. You can open up to Romans chapter 5.

Going to be looking at the first part of that chapter. A couple months ago, my wife and I,

we moved. So we moved in Newhouse and, you know, having to sort through home insurance, right? And if you've ever done that, like, it's just such a, such a nightmare. I don't really enjoy thinking about insurance. And there's all these different options. I'm getting quotes from all these different companies, trying to figure out what policy, like what coverage do I need? What coverage do I not need? Do I have to pay for this? Do I not have, right? But again, that's kind of how life is. It's not just home insurance. It's auto insurance. It's health insurance. What kind of health insurance do you want, right? All of these different options. And what's been very interesting is over these last few years that these, all of these different insurance companies offer different member benefits,

right? Depending on the insurance, you might get discounted travel rates or you might get roadside

assistance. There's all these different benefits that these insurance companies have. But if you're

like me, I don't think about insurance a lot. In fact, I actually try not to think about insurance very often.

So most of my benefits that I have as a member, as a customer, oftentimes go unused. It's not because

these benefits are bad. They're actually quite good. It's just I am busy and I don't think to

open my insurance app, right? I don't bank with my insurance company.

Well, I'm not an insurance agent, if that wasn't abundantly clear. Don't buy insurance from me.

I am a pastor and I have a privilege of getting to talk to all sorts of people. I love that.

It's genuine, the deepest privilege of my life. I get to talk to Christians.
