So that's exciting.

Let's celebrate that. But it is a privilege to be here. I know I've said this before, but Wednesdays genuinely are my favorite night of our church. The reason being, these are special nights for me, sitting in these chairs many years ago in series with Pastor Skip, Wednesday night Bible studies.

That's when I first sensed that call that I wanted to go deeper with my faith.

That's when I sensed that call that I wanted to really dedicate my life to studying God's word,

to teaching it.

It was in this room.

So Wednesday night's hold a very special meaning for me in my own life

and ministry. And I'm very honored. Obviously, Pastor Skip is not here, if you couldn't tell by the

massive height deferential. But he's going to be out of town for the next few weeks.

And he's invited me to spend the next several Wednesdays with you guys going through a short series that I'm calling

counterfeit Christ. Counterfeit Christ. And I'll explain what I mean by that here in a moment.

But I do have this question. What do you think of when I say the word Jesus?

When you hear the word Jesus, what terms enter your mind? Yeah, that's good. Hey, praise God.

Right. If you're a believer in here, you're probably thinking of words like, Lord, he's my savior. He's

the son of God. He's the Messiah, right? He's king. Those are all true. Amen. Yes and amen to that.

And maybe you are in here. Maybe you aren't a

believer. You're still trying to figure this out. God bless you. I am so glad you're here. We are stoked that you came

to church, even if you don't fully believe. But when I say Jesus, you might be thinking instead of just like,
