It is so good to be with you and to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

You know, especially at a time when there's been some bad news recently in our nation

with the recent shooting at Covenant Christian School in Nashville.

Tornadoes this week and last week caused death and destruction in our nation.

There's a shooting at the Mall of America last night.

I mean, we got cultural chaos, we've got political drama, and on and on it goes.

So it is so good to be able to be here and share some good news with you for a change

that Jesus Christ rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, seated at the right hand

of the Father, and he's coming again. He's coming again. Easter is this time when Christians

around the world gather to celebrate this fact that Jesus Christ rose from the dead. It is what

distinguishes Christianity from all other world religions.

Muhammad, Gandhi, Confucius, Buddha, Elron Hubbard, Mary Baker, Eddie, they all are still dead.

Ladies and gentlemen, only Jesus Christ is alive forever and ever.

Amen. And his resurrection was noted by eyewitnesses. Peter would say in Acts

2.31, Jesus was not abandoned to the grave, nor did his body see decay. God raised this Jesus

to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact. Mary Magdalene would be quoted in John

20, verse 18, when she saw the risen Lord and she said, I have seen the Lord. Many other

testimonies throughout the New Testament about the risen Lord. Now, as I was preparing for this

teaching today, an old movie came to my mind that I watched

when I was a little kid.

I was like eight or nine years old.

I don't remember the name of the movie.
