Like we said at the beginning of the week, this life is marked by a single choice.

Who or what will we center our lives around?

Today, we will look at the person of Jesus Christ.

He is the first and the last. Everything was created for him, by him, and through

him. To center your life around anyone else is futile and empty. As we look to Jesus today,

may our eyes be fixed on his eternal goodness and glory.

Allow your heart to be stirred in adoration, worship, and devotion to the only true king this world has ever known.

All of eternity centers around the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.

He is the all-important, eternity-changing, and humanity-redeeming son of the living God.

Colossians 115 tells us, he is the image of the living God. Colossians 115 tells us,

He is the image of the invisible God,

the firstborn of all creation.

Hebrews 1 3 says,

He is the radiance of the glory of God

and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the

word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the majesty

on high. And at the time of his return, Revelation 1916 says,

On his robe and on his thigh, he has a name written,
