It's a full-time job nowadays.

Lots of stuff out there being called Christian.

Our job is to ask the question,

is it really biblical or is it really Christian?

And the way we do that is by digging into God's word and comparing what we hear to the word of God. It's pretty simple.

Now today is an interesting show because I actually am not in the studio.

I'm on a quick business trip up north and we'll be back tomorrow in

the studio live. So you get to hear a Sunday school lesson. In fact this is the

Sunday school lesson that I taught this past Sunday

at Faith Lutheran Church in Capistrano Beach, California. I teach the adult Sunday school

class there and in fact, if you would like to visit and attend my Sunday school class,

Sunday school class begins at about 10.45 in the morning.

So today's topic actually is the beginning of a multi-part lesson that I'm teaching regarding Abraham I've been

working through a series that I've been doing on finding Christ. Where is Christ

in the Old Testament? Jesus Christ himself told the Pharisees that they

diligently search the scriptures because they think that in them they have life

yet they are the very scriptures that testify about him and they refuse to come to him
