So this is actually week number eight in our series evidence for the Bible. This is the eighth week in the series

So we've covered a lot of ground. We've shown multiple examples of different prophecies of the critics attacks on those specific arguments so that it I think makes a good

strong case i think prophecy is probably the

the best apologetic for the Bible

but right now we're focusing specifically on jesus and that's what we've been doing just I think just

last week and and two week the last three weeks including this week so now we're

going to be in Genesis 22. So if you would open

your Bibles to Genesis 22, as we're looking at prophecy specifically about Jesus. In coming

weeks, we're going to look at, while you're turning your pages there, we're going to be looking at Daniel 9.

Then we're going to start looking at various prophecies of Jesus like scattered throughout.

Maybe it doesn't take a whole day because it's not a whole passage.

It's a smaller piece of a passage that applies to Jesus.

So we'll do that as we get there in the coming weeks.

This is one of those passages that's absolutely confounding.

Genesis 22 is where God asks Abraham to sacrifice his own son, Isaac.

Now, to anyone who knows the Bible, you know the rest of the Bible,

God literally forbids human sacrifice
