0:50.0	It's about proclaiming the kingdom of God, the forgiveness of sins in Jesus Christ.

0:59.0	My name is Chris Rosebrough and I am your servant in Jesus Christ, dishing up a daily dose of biblical discernment,
1:06.1	the goal of which is to get you to think biblically, to get you to think critically,
1:10.2	and to compare what people are saying in the name of God to the word of God.
1:15.7	Why? Well, because Jesus said in the last days, his big warning right out of the
1:20.1	shoot was, be sure that no one deceives you so how is it that you can avoid
1:26.5	being deceived if you would well we worked from a couple of simple premises if you would. One we believe in
1:34.8	something called Sola scriptura. That is that the Bible alone, the Bible alone
1:39.7	not the Bible plus your liver shivers, the Bible plus your goosebumps the got Bible
1:45.3	plus your traditions the Bible plus some external profit the Bible plus the book of
1:51.9	Mormon of the Bible plus anything.
1:54.0	Nothing. You cannot add anything to scripture.
1:56.0	It is the Bible alone.
1:58.0	And it is not the Bible plus your dreams and visions.
2:02.0	It's the Bible alone. That is the word of God it is authoritative and it
2:06.2	tells us who God is what God has done for us in Jesus Christ and it is the word of God. So that's basically what we work from here.
