We're glad to have you with us today for the launch of a faith-building new series examining the

person and work of Jesus. Roll will begin with reassurance that Jesus has all power and authority to heal

and to save. He sees the repentant and hears the persistent.

Today's study will show how Jesus' unconditional love first rescued a demon-possessed man

and later healed a man who was literally paralyzed by his sin. Today's lesson is titled Jesus

Matthew, Kansas gives you a short story, not enough detail, but it's cool.

Because in the gospel of Mark, what you have is that you have Jesus just leaving Gadera, where he has been praying for two people that

were demon possessed. And these demon possessed persons were becoming a great problem to the town of Gadera and the citizens of Gadera.

As people would try to walk to the highway, these men would attack them.

And the demons would overtake them.
