And this, you know, this is, we're getting toward the heart of Mark's gospel as we read through the gospel of Mark. And this is our second gospel this year. We did Matthew earlier this year. And then we're going to do Luke over the summer, and it'll be John in the fall.

And I'm really, really excited about that.

Hello, good to be back.

Driving in from Ames.

It's good to talk about our locations.

You have a bit of a drive. But Ais has a lot going on. We do. We're open in a building this fall. That's going to be really exciting. Can't wait. Your first new building. Well, you have a link. You have a meeting place. You've had names for a few years. but this is your first sanctuary, first church building.

It'll be the first time that we do everything in the church under one roof when it comes to things that are happening inside of a building. Obviously, we'll continue to reach out. But it's a really exciting season for us. We're pumped. That's great. We also have Pastor Brian Brown from Hope Elam in downtown Des Moines. Yeah, I was glad to be here. Always exciting to be at the table.

We're happy to have you. Absolutely. What's new and exciting in the city? Oh, lots of great things.

We continue to see God pour out his spirit all over the place. It's been a fun time. Also,

just some incredible things that's on the horizon. Looking to share that's great that is great it was funny

I can't help but say this because most of our listeners are listening on audio but some are on video and I just looked up over at the screen and while Brian was talking

Danny leaned over to check his notes or something and I just saw this big blob of hair I had to cough and so I was trying to get away from the microphone and then I looked over the screen and I'm like this big blob of hair. I had to cough. And so I was trying to get away from the microphone. And then I looked over the screen. I'm like, oh, no, that's me. So at least our listeners know we keep it real here. You know, this is it. You get us, you know, plausible. And are you okay? I'm good. Yeah, I thought people wouldn't want to hear that. And so, you know. And we didn't. You didn't, so that's good. Way to be discreet. We just saw me do it. We saw it. We didn't hear it. You know, which visually might have looked worse than how it would have sounded. Blessed are those eyes who got to see Danny's hair. Something like that. It's good. On that note, let's dive into the serious stuff, which is our Bible reading from Mark

10, verse 46 to Mark chapter 12, verse 31.
