today I'm ending my first week of teaching through John 14, 15, and 16. I've entitled this Jesus'

Farewell address, and this is his last instruction to his disciples before his crucifixion.

This is a 150 page little book and what this is is the verse by verse commentary from

my living commentary on John 14, 15, and 16.

So we've taken it, our living commentary is a digital format and we've taken it and just printed the verse by verse commentary on these three chapters

and I tell you this is powerful.

I've already said a lot of things this week that I just haven't got time to go back and summarize but they are

powerful.

This is Jesus speaking to his disciples right before he is arrested and he tells them don't let your heart be troubled.

Most people cannot even swallow that much less everything else that he had to say to him.

They feel that they're justified in getting upset

when things go bad, but Jesus said, don't let your heart be trouble.

You have the ability to control your emotions. And then he told him, he says, where I'm going, you know, and the way you know, and in verse five, Thomas said unto him, Lord, we don't know where you're going. How can we know the way? Jesus said unto them, I am the way, the truth and the life.

No man cometh unto the Father but by me. If you had known me, you should have known my father also, and from henceforth you know him and have seen

him.
