And I don't know how I found myself in this position of misfortune, but for

whatever reason in the last few weeks, my phone has been absolutely blowing up by like political

texts. Is anyone, is that just me or like, is anyone just like, I feel like I'm constantly like,

I can't respond. Stop any faster.

You know, they're emailing me.

They're fundraising.

They're texting me.

And it all has this very catastrophic tone where, like, the other political party is like,

they're the supervillains.

If they win, the world is destroyed.

We need your help. We can't do it

without you. This is our last chance. You're our last hope. Like, help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You are my... Like, that's the tone of every single text that I'm getting, and I'm getting them constantly. But like politicians, I didn't even know we're in office. But they all have this same message. We need your support. We need your vote. We need your money. That's what they're

really after. Let need your support. We need your vote. We need your

money. That's what they're really after. Let's be honest. The good news is that Jesus doesn't need

your vote. That's what we're going to talk about tonight. Jesus doesn't need your vote. Praise God,

that's good news. Fair warning, though. We're all probably told that you're not

supposed to talk about religion and politics in polite company, and we're going to do both of
