kind of like a progressive Christian manifesto that was written by Ragamuffin TV.

We deal with these claims, some good, some bad, some ugly, and I'm hoping

that this helps you to think biblically. Well, number nine, I can't read the whole thing

without violating number one.

So number nine says, penal substitutionary atonement theory

is absolute dog poop, I'll say,

although that's not the word that's in the post. God didn't send

Jesus to die on the cross for your sins to satisfy his wrath. He did it to satisfy

yours and I just want to pop in before I give this to you because this

was exactly what was told to me by a progressive pastor years ago that somehow God capitulated to our blood lust.

He gave us our pound of flesh because we wanted it.

monster of whatever they think he is like and it was I thought that was he had such a visceral reaction to that what's your reaction to this that Jesus didn't die on the cross for your sins to satisfy his wrath he did it to satisfy your wrath.

Well, let's just recognize this is not historical Christianity or biblical

Christian. Now, in history, you find weird things in the church fathers. Yeah.

But you don't find that.
