We all have so much more to learn about the Lord Jesus Christ.

You know, you read the gospel records and you see these disciples seemingly perplexed and puzzled at times.

They had partial information.

We have all of scripture, and I feel so many times I'm still in the kindergarten

of knowing Christ. But we're learning more and more about who Christ is and why Jesus came. Today

we come to a truth that connects not only why he came the first time, but what he's going to do

when he comes back. listen to Jesus' words in

John chapter 9, verse 39, and Jesus said, for judgment, I am come into this world. You see,

we've been talking a great deal about the fact that Jesus is Savior, but he is also judge. There's coming

a day, he's getting up off the mercy seat, and he'll sit down on the seat of judgment.

He said, for judgment, I am coming to this world, that they which see not might see,

and that they which see might be made blind.

Wait a minute.

You're telling me that he wants some people who are blind to see and some people that see now to be blinded.

That's exactly right.

He goes on, verse 40, it says, in some of the Pharisees, which were with him, heard these words and said to him, are we blind also?
