manufacturing descent since 1996. This is hell. A couple of weeks ago here on the show we

were speaking with sociologist Amy Kooter who returned to the show to talk about her new book

nostalgia nationalism in the US militia movement. During that conversation she

suggested we have on the author of another book that touches on a different aspect of today's right wing

and that book is titled Jesus and John Wayne how white evangelicals corrupted a faith and

fractured a nation. The following week we spoke with the ward a prospect on the history of what's known as revisionist Zionism and how its adherents

openly called themselves fascist at their founding way back in the 1930s.

And who knew? Jesus and John Wayne came up again and Rick seconded Amy's suggestion that we have the author on the show.
