Brighton curse, winning 2-0 at the Emirates.

Just wanted to start off with something I spotted during the game yesterday.

Brighton's defender, Jack Hinchel, had lost his shin pad on the pitch.

The ref gave it back to him.

I don't know if you two saw this, but it was smaller than a bar of soap.

So I just wanted to know if you had any modern footballer pet hates.

Personally, I love the small shin pad because I was I was an advocate of that as a player.

So as a kid, I was sort of forced, I think, when those pads came out with the ankle

protectors and whatnot, everyone felt like he had to wear them.

And I never liked it.
