A warning up front.

First off, listener discretion is always advised.

This show plays real 911 one calls and goes over facts about the tragedy that happened.

It's generally the worst or one of the worst days in someone's life.

So it should go without saying that the show should be listened to with the knowledge

you'll hear either very bad things on the calls themselves or in talking about what

happened before and after the calls.

Episodes like today, though, it needs an extra stern warning.

This episode will talk about children and a violent sexual crime against one.

There are very graphic details that are involved with the incident discussed on this one.

So if you're not okay with hearing what really isn't easy to hear, you might want to listen to one of my

previous episodes. While researching this one, I felt very uncomfortable more than a couple of times.

And to be clear about something else, I'm not doing this for shock value.

From the start, my whole reason for doing this show was to bring light to both dispatchers and other first responders

and show some of the stuff as a whole

that we have to go through. Even though we're not the victims of these cases, it can be traumatic

to everyone involved. So in the case today, I've struggled on whether or not to include some of the

details because they're that horrific.

But these are the things that dispatchers, police officers, detectives, firefighters, paramedics,

as well as others, like medical examiners, have to deal with and can leave them with problems that don't leave.

Point is, this episode is a bad one, and it's not been easy for me, and I wasn't even involved

in any part of the actual work with the incident itself.
