Stassi read Jessica's bestselling novel Luckiest Girl Alive (2016) after Jackie Oshry's recommendation and she couldn't put it down. In addition to becoming a NYT bestseller again, 6 years after its original publication date, Luckiest Girl Alive also recently became the #1 Netflix film, starring Mila Kunis. Stassi asks Jessica how she created such a complex, relatable character in Ani and they connect on how they both identify with her journey in different ways.
Jessica also admits her love of reality TV and tells Stassi how she came up with the plot for The Favorite Sister (2022), in which two sisters join the cast of a reality series and only one will make it out alive.
